According to the Korea Disaster Relief Association, actor Lee Byung Hun donates 1 million KRW to the emergency fund in hopes of helping out the affected residents.

At the same time, actor Lee Je Hoon also donates 1 million KRW to Hope Bridge Association of the National Disaster Relief. Lee Je Hoon said, “I hope there are sufficient necessary supply for the firefighters who are putting out the fire at the site, as well as the victims. I hope the fire will be put out soon and recovery of damage will be as soon as possible.”

Meanwhile, Kim Hye Soo and Ryu Seung Ryung post a post from poet Kang Je Yoon, sharing their thoughts regarding the forest fire. The post from Kang Je Yoon stated that, “the residents at the site urgently share that they have enough aid supply. However, the firefighters hardly have time to eat. as they have to fight the fire even at night. As it is urgent to put out the fire now, (the firefighters) have no time to eat. So they fill their stomach with cup noodles as they can eat them while moving around.”

The post also shares that there’re not enough cup noodles and drinking water. Instant coffee which serves as sugar supplement is insufficient too. The mothers of the Ulchin community flock to provide supplies but it’s still not enough. “To put out the fire is what’s most crucial. Though it is important to help the victims, it’s even more urgent to provide firefighters what they need right now,” the post stated.

At the end of the post, the residents requested, “The National Emergency Management Agency should provide firefighters instant food as soon as possible. If there’s anyone who can contact the National Emergency Management Agency, we’d be grateful if you can share this with the headquarter.”
