According to the public statement of ENGD on the 14th, the production of the drama, Kwanglim Arts Center decided that the event is improper for the venue, hence made a one-sided decision to cancel the booking. And because of this, the ticketing scheduled on the 14th was cancelled.

ENGD stated, “we are sorry for causing confusion to the fans when it’s only less than a week till the event. We will quickly come up with a solution so that the cast and the fans can meet up. Then we’ll make a statement again.”

Kwanglim Arts Center is a theater run by the Kwanglim Church. Currently, Kwanglim Arts Center is criticized for a one-sided notice that seemingly expresses their opposition to a piece of work that includes homosexuality.

From the most recent statement from ENGD, the production found a new venue for the fanmeeting at Naru Art Center. The new ticketing will start on the 16th at 6pm. Main cast of “To My Star”, actor Son Woo Hyun and Kim Kang Min, are expected to attend the event.

Meanwhile, season 2 of “To My Star” has been confirmed, and its filming has been completed. It’s expected to be broadcast in the first half of this year.
